PROJECT

Project: The Climate Change Adaptation project (CCA) with Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR)
Team: Harshal Khade, Jr. Communications Officer; Mohan Dhuldhar, Jr. AV Officer;  WOTR subject experts and operations staff
Role: Led the branding, publications, blog, and social media advocacy for the project.
Partners: SDC, NABARD, IMD, Swiss RE, ICRAF, BVIEER, Govt. of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

WOTR has been working in the semi-arid regions of India to build climate and ecosystem resilience with rural vulnerable communities. As an integrated adaptation response to combat climate change, WOTR partnered with multiple stakeholders to implement the Climate Change Adaptation Project (CCA) in 78 villages across four Indian states impacting nearly 74, 795 people. The multi-partner project addressed 14 concern areas and aimed to lead CCA discourse through integrated and policy-specific research, documentation and communication. The challenge was to provide a unified vision, language and messaging through our digital and print products.
